2013 Annual Meeting

SUBDIVISION MEETING 16 MAY 2013, Called to Order 7 pm

Welcome New Residents for 2013 and 2012.  Welcome folders have been delivered except for one that is in the making. 

FINANACES:   open book policy,  here is a quick breakout :

-Working Income:  $16,346  (see attached  for details)
-Deficits: $5259.00
-Current ESCROW Balance:  $11,087.00

-We are researching NEW Liability Insurance coverage – received a quote and waiting for approval.  current cost is $1945.00 yearly (new cost $1269.00) saving: $676.00. 

-Electric Bill Increased again for 2013 to: up to $430.00 monthly

-2012 BILL $370.00; 2011 BILL WAS $315.00 Major increases seen in last 2yrs.   Now - $21.85 per street light. 18 STREET LIGHTS

-2013 Assessment Collection – new collection process w/City Village and Tax Office (CTVO) running good.

-109 residents are paid – we thank everyone for paying on time.

-6 properties remain UNPAID owing multiple years. New Liens are going on 6 properties effective May for non-payment. 

-One of these homes (2057)remains in bankruptcy and is vacant

-2013 Association Tax Form 1120H - filed in March with the State of Missouri.

In and around the subdivision:

-MODOT was called in December to see about possible Sound Barrier Wall for the Court.  A sound study will be conducted.  Waiting for Status. Will stay on it.

-Speeding –   SLOW DOWN – help us to control the 20 MPH Speed Limit.  Please Remind all household members “It’s the Law” !

-The Arnold Police Department posted the digital speed limit sign throughout the neighborhood last week and into this week.  They moved them various areas around neighborhood.

-We received a couple of “slow down” signs to post around the neighborhood, from Arnold Police Dept.  They are available from the police Department.  I have two anyone can have.

-Cathy - Contacted Charlie Allen of City of Arnold, to pursue getting a sign installed at entrance of subdivision. 

-It will say: “SLOW Down - Children Playing”
-Waiting for approval.  I will follow up.

-Island two under construction, should be done by end of May.  Have had a lot of rain keeping us from completion

-Will be mulching all Islands, rocks, and entrance
